Luang Prabang Power Provides Medical Equipment to Strengthen Healthcare Services at Luang Prabang Provincial Hospital

Luang Prabang, Lao PDR – Luang Prabang Power Company Limited (LPCL), an associate company of CK Power Public Company Limited and the developer of the Luang Prabang Hydroelectric Power Project, recently provided three types of medical equipment valued at more than LAK 800 million to Luang Prabang Provincial Hospital. The support aims to strengthen the hospital’s medical capabilities and improve access to quality healthcare services for people in the local community.
The medical equipment includes a fetal heart rate monitor, a tonsillectomy surgical instrument set, and an immunoassay analyzer. Mr. Kitpoat Srasomsub, Deputy Managing Director – Construction, Luang Prabang Power Company Limited, handed over the medical equipment on behalf of the Company to Mr. Phouvana Anoulackkham, Director of Luang Prabang Provincial Hospital.
The initiative forms part of LPCL’s efforts to support quality of life in local communities by strengthening the hospital’s capacity to provide medical examinations, diagnosis and treatment, while helping expand access to quality healthcare services. It also contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3): Good Health and Well-being.
