Overview

  • Maintain and manage the Data Base of all documentation which was created for the construction of the Hydroelectric Power Plant
  • Organize, manage and maintain an Operation and Maintenance Data Base which can be accessed from workstations allocated within the Plant.

Essential Duties

  • Maintain and manage the entire on-site archival collection.
  • Based on available information develop digital operation and maintenance manuals.
  • Scan and convert archival documents into electronic data.
  • Actively assist Plant Staff to find the requested information.
  • Maintain a user-friendly, computer aided search system.

Additional Duties

  • Develop safety protocols to protect data, records and documentation.
  • Provide controlled access to the Data Base from workstations within the Plant.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in library and Information Science or a similar qualification
  • Minimum 5-year experience in Document Control
  • Basic Knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering would be an advantages.

  • Familiar with handling an Aconex Data Base would be beneficial.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Under the general direction from the Shift Leader, performing duties ensuring a safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the cogeneration plant. Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring, inspecting, adjusting, and controlling all power production, auxiliary, and facility equipment to assure safe, legal, continuous, and efficient operation. Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct technical guidance and support to the staff on relevant operational and maintenance matters.
  • Perform and coordination for power plant performance test as specification and Pre-Post Performance for Plant acceptance.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with forecasting Hydrology and declare energy to EGAT follow both EGAT , EDL ‘ s PPA. General summary (Technician - Safety)

  • SSC Safety Technician expects to work closely with XPCL Safety, O&M teams and SSC Insurance and Safety to supporting job and activities which related to safety operation and other assigned work
  • Coordinating on a daily basis with XPCL safety and O&M teams to comply with applicable company standards and procedures, laws, regulations, international standards and OSH Management System.

Common Responsibilities in SSC

  • Support safety activities according to OSH yearly plan.
  • Control and monitor all of the emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, fire exit door, emergency light, eyewash and safety shower) in good working condition at all time.
  • Maintain all safety equipment, safety tools or accessories in good working conditiont all time.
  • Report any safety issues that found in the safety inspection.
  • Inspect site tool and equipment to ensure that it is maintained in a safe operable condition.

General summary

HR Business Partner Officer is responsible to manage HR related activities at local location of a subsidiary acting as a frontline contact person of HR team for employees at subsidiary’s local location, and ensure professional and efficient services based on service agreements.

Primary duties

SSC Common Responsibilities

  • Promptly respond to subsidiary’s MD general requests to perform activities contributing to successful business operation at local site.
  • Work closely with SSC HR team and be a contact person for employees at local location to manage HR-related activities regarding recruitment, HR management and HR development including gathering & verifying information, receiving & responding to employee’s request for HR related services.
  • Support at site communication regards the changes from Organization Development (OD) aspects e.g. organization structure changes, update of functional descriptions and job descriptions.
  • Assist HR Business Partner Manager to prepare monthly reports and report to MD of subsidiary and related person on work progress and issues regarding human resource operation at each local location

Local Recruitment Support

  • Verify the request of workforce from the local managers by reviewing the workforce requisition form and the job descriptions; prior submitting to SSC Recruitment for further proceed.
  • Perform local job posting and/or advertisement through coordination with SSC Recruitment; or local agency if necessary.
  • Facilitate local job application for the walk-in candidates and report to the SSC Recruitment.
  • Perform local recruitment of operators (e.g. driver, maid, gardener) and report to the SSC Recruitment.

  • Collect and verify the Overtime Request Form in daily basis for all employees at local site and in weekly basis for the operator employees and submit the documents to SSC HRM accordingly.
  • Submit monthly time record and attendance report to SSC HRM.
  • Follow up and verify the Performance Appraisal form from the local manager and submit to SSC HRM.
  • Collect and verify certificate document to SSC HRM.
  • Coordinate with the embassy, immigration office, and agency in Laos to prepare the newly issued visa and work permit for the expat who work in Laos including the annual renewal support.
  • Perform local administer and logistics for annual health check for the employees at site

HR Development Team Support

  • Collect and verify training requested documents including budget, venue, course outline with reference to CKP training roadmap and CKP core competencies, and related details before submitting to SSC HRD.
  • Collect and follow up annual training feedback survey and report to SSC HRD. Follow up the post-training report to SSC HRD.
  • Support in-house training activities including trainer coordination, logistics arrangement, meeting date and time arrangement, venue selection, participant list preparation, meals & break request.
  • Follow up with local employees at site to set career development plan and report to SSC HRD.

Qualifications:

  • Male / Female age 24-28 years old.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Political Sciences or related fields.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in HR Business Partner Officer.

XAYABURI POWER COMPANY LIMITED

The Xayaburi Dam is a hydroelectric dam under construction on the Lower Mekong River approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of Xayaburi (Sainyabuli) town in Northern Laos. The main purpose of the dam is to produce hydroelectric power. The project is surrounded in Preliminary construction began in early 2012.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning and managing all tasks related to guest visiting and arranging ceremonies that occur within the XPCL Hydropower Plant Project.
  • Prepare and facilitate the accommodation, coordination for catering, food and beverage, and also entertainment. Lead the visitors to visit around the Hydropower plant area.
  • As well as coordinate with other departments and set equipment to ensure the readiness of visiting or meeting.
  • Write a summary of expenses related to the visiting project and send the monthly report to SSC-Administration Executive for acknowledgment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the MD Office department to summarize and communicate for acknowledgment the site visiting information in all sectors.
  • Coordinate with Laos government agencies in preparing to bring the visitors to visit the project.
  • Prepare and facilitate the accommodation in XPCL Project for all visitors.
  • Liaise with the police in facilitating the visitors' convoys to enter the XPCL project.
  • Coordinate the cars of each point to pick up visitors and maintaining safety along the way to visit the project.
  • Prepare to ensure the readiness of the meeting room including all types of meeting room equipment Provide maid services to facilitate the visitors in all places of visiting program and take care of tidiness such as coffee break and cleanliness Provide accommodation and check the neatness both before and after the visit.
  • Prepare the catering area, select food and beverage menus, coordinate with the restaurant for every meal, as well as preparing karaoke equipment for entertainment. Coordinate with the security team and other departments to ensure the safety of visitors along with the visiting program Prepare all service along the trip such as drinking water, cold towels, umbrellas, and taking photos.
  • Follow up and facilitate the visitors during the trips around the plant area.
