Summary of Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the IT department, support and maintenance of the organization's SAP systems and other business applications, leading a team of IT professionals, implementing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness, and ensuring that all IT services meet business needs and align with organizational goals.
Primary Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:
Pre-construction phase
- Draft reports, presentation decks, contracts, technical correspondents, terms of reference and technical references etc. in English or Thai version to support supervisor.
- Support the feasibility study process which includes but not limited to:
o Supervise and monitor site investigations from renewable energy view point.

- Ensure document control of the project by preparing storage and document organizing rules
Construction phase

- The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of new hydropower projects (from pre-construction through construction) and providing technical consulting services to O&M subsidiaries, with a focus on the Mekong River Basin. The primary focus is the supervision of daily, weekly, and monthly rainfall, discharge, and power forecasting using available monitoring and forecasting systems to provide accurate operation and power declaration recommendations to management. The role involves ensuring the reliability of hydrological data and overseeing improvements to forecasting models to enhance financial and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Forecasting: Prepare, present, and explain daily, weekly, and monthly discharge and power forecasts using the CKP Forecasting System.
- Mekong River Monitoring: Utilize real-time data from the network of stations across Lao PDR, satellite data, and weather forecasts to analyze inflow for projects.
- Model Improvement: Conduct regular assessments of forecast accuracy; propose and implement solutions—such as Ensemble Forecasts—to reduce uncertainty and improve power declarations.
- Safety & Compliance: Prepare discharge forecasts to support EPC contractors during construction and ensure public safety by predicting flood trends for areas upstream and downstream of Mekong projects.
- Technical Studies: Conduct and review technical studies related to meteorology, hydraulics, mapping, surveying, and sediment transport (e.g., evaluating rating curves and sediment flushing behaviors).
- Project Development: Support feasibility studies for new hydropower projects, including drafting reports, terms of reference (ToR), and technical correspondents.
Special Responsibilities:
- Technical Substitution: Substitute temporarily for team members to ensure the continuity of critical daily/weekly activities, such as reporting and meeting attendance.
- System Maintenance Coordination: Supervise corrective actions on forecasting servers in coordination with IT teams and external consultants.
- Innovation & Knowledge Transfer: Lead or support knowledge sharing activities and the development of new regional climate change studies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Water Resource Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, Hydraulics, or related fields.
- Professional Experience: 1–7 years of experience in hydrology, hydraulics, or water resources.
- Mekong Expertise: Past experience with projects related to hydropower or dam operations specifically on the Mekong River is highly preferred.
- Modelling Proficiency: Hands-on experience with hydrodynamics and hydrological models.
- Technical Tools: Proficiency in GIS and remote sensing applications for water resource management.
- AI and Advanced Analytics: Advanced knowledge in machine learning, advanced statistics, and programming/scripting (e.g., Python, R) for automating forecasting processes and data analysis is considered a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities
Maintenance & Reliability

Technical Purchasing Manager is expected to lead and manage Technical Purchasing Team
to provide professional and efficient services for technical engineering procurement for CKP group
companies and ensure the quality of operation and cost optimization according to service agreements
and oversee the shared services function, managing technical purchasing for all group companies.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities in SSC
- Ensuring that team members have a thorough understanding of the technical purchasing services available, along with an appropriate working style, enables the team to demonstrate a solid grasp

- Coordinate with plant manager and related plant engineer to develop engineering procurement planning for each subsidiary O&M plant.

- Compile and recheck the technical purchasing monthly reports and submit to Procurement Management and related parties on work progress and issues regarding procurement planning & operation for CKP group companies.
- Provide guidance on the most efficient strategies for technical purchasing planning and operations.

Routine Responsibilities in SSC
- Manage procurement activities across all group companies, encompassing for technical engineering sector. This includes managing purchase requisitions, vendor relationships, verification of purchase requests, handling quotations and proposals, issuing purchase orders, processing goods receipts, facilitating tax exemption operations (BOI, Quota), and coordinating logistic arrangements.
- Manage and control the technical purchasing team secures optimal offers from suppliers and collaborates closely with the store management team to effectively plan inventory orders and deliveries. Supervise store management and operations at local warehouses including contractor management if any.
- Develop and manage tasks on procurement planning and follow-up technical engineering procurement activities for each subsidiary.

Qualification

Summary of Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining plant facilities in compliance with company procedures and safety regulations, primarily in the mechanical and hydraulic fields. Working under the supervision of the (Sr.) Manager – Mechanical Engineering to inspect, maintain, and repair all plant equipment. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable plant operations. Carry out any additional duties required to keep the plant operating safely, efficiently, and economically.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the proper maintenance of hydro-turbine mechanical equipment in accordance with O&M manuals, procedures, maintenance schedules, spare parts usage, safety standards, quality requirements, and reporting systems.
- Manage and execute daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance activities as planned (PM, CM, IM, MOC, including outages).
- Perform preventive, corrective, outage, and improvement maintenance work orders and submit reports on time.
- Develop maintenance procedures and work instructions and lead site execution with the maintenance team.
- Prepare and review JSEA (Job Safety & Environmental Analysis), work permits, and risk assessments.

กำกับการฝึกอบรม ถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ จัด Workshop และ กิจกรรมพัฒนาทักษะรายสัปดาห์ (Clinic) ประสานความร่วมมือกับภาครัฐ สถานศึกษา ชุมชน และหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง โดยอิงจากความต้องการของชุมชนรอบโครงการ - บริหารการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์และห่วงโซ่อุปทานงานหัตถกรรม

- SCC Legal: ข้อกำหนดและเอกสารด้านกฎหมายที่เกี่ยวข้องกับกิจกรรมโครงการ

Qualification

Founded in 2011, Bangpa-in Cogeneration Company Limited (BIC) is a Small Power Producer (SPP) Cogeneration that collaborates with business partners and the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) to develop and operate a combined capacity of approximately 120 MW.

Summary of Responsibilities
General summary:
Maintenance of the facilities in compliance with the company procedures and safety instructions, mainly the generating unit and Auxiliary (Navigation lock, Spillway, Low-level outlet, Pump station 1 & 2, and Fish passing facilities, etc.) Under the team leader and section manager, the Mechanical engineers repair the plant. Performing any duties necessary to keep the plant running safely and economically.
Primary duties:
- Take responsibility for his own safety and the safety of his colleagues.
- Be responsible for the proper maintenance of hydro-mechanical equipment in accordance with O&M manuals, procedures, schedules, and requirements for spare parts, consumables, safety, quality, and reporting.
- Perform inspections and maintenance work, usually on shutdown equipment, related to hydromechanical and hydraulic systems. Ensure that work is properly prepared in advance to optimize quality, outage duration, and safety.
- Execute daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance plans, including PM (Preventive Maintenance), CM (Corrective Maintenance), IM (Inspection Maintenance), MOC (Management of Change), and outage activities.
- Perform preventive, corrective, proactive, outage, and improvement maintenance work orders as assigned.
- Ensure all work is carried out according to the approved work preparation and perform regular quality checks.
- Lead the installation of new equipment as required and directed.
- Lead maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hydromechanical and auxiliary equipment, including Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment in the power plant.
- Assign daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to the team based on plans from the planning team and follow up on the quality and progress of work.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of mechanical tools and equipment.
- Prepare work reports to record data for future reference and tracking.
- Prepare incident reports and conduct root cause analysis for any events or incidents.
- Coordinate and cooperate with other sections and with the Electrical & SCADA team when required.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure tools, equipment, and consumables are available and properly counted.
- Collect and analyze condition monitoring data (such as vibration, oil condition, and temperature) to support predictive and condition-based maintenance planning.
- Develop Work Instructions (WI) related to maintenance activities and provide training for team members.
- Perform cleaning duties as required.
- Take proactive actions to prevent equipment failures.
- Perform all duties safely and efficiently, with due consideration for health and safety.

XAYABURI POWER COMPANY LIMITED
Xayaburi Power Company Limited (XPCL), an affiliate of CK Power Public Company Limited, representing 42.5 percent of XPCL's registered and paid-up capital. XPCL is a company registered in the Lao PDR and is awarded the concession from the Government of the Lao PDR. for design, development, construction, and operation of the Xayaburi Hydroelectric Power Plant for a period of 31 years from the Commercial Operation Date.
Situated on the Mekong River in Xayaburi Province, Lao PDR, the Xayaburi Hydroelectric Power Project is located approximately 80 kilometers south of Luang Prabang and 1,900 kilometers from the Mekong River Delta. The power plant began its commercial operations on October 29, 2019, and boasts an installed capacity of 1,285 MW.
Location: Xayaburi province, Laos PDR.
Summary of Responsibilities
Maintenance of the facilities in compliance with the company procedures and safety instructions, mainly on hydro mechanical equipment (spillway gates , Intake gate , Navigation facilities , Fish passing facilities ,Cranes, Log boom or hydraulics fields)Under the Team Leader and section manager. Mechanical & Turbine Engineering and repairing all equipment in the plant. Performing any duties necessary to keep the plant running in a safe and economical manner.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the correct performance of the whole maintenance of the turbine mechanical equipment of the facilities in compliance with the O&M manuals, procedures, spare parts, consumable use, schedule, safety, quality and reporting
- Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly all maintenance plan (PM, CM, IM including outage).
- Making the daily, weekly, and monthly job planning for his team and follow up the works quality and quantity.
- Be responsible for the good use and maintenance of mechanical tools and equipment.
- Make written report, close the work worder in Maximo – daily and weekly.
- Make incident reports with root cause analysis for every event and incident.
- Take care of the first level analysis of those reports and makes proposals for further analysis, modifications, improvement. (RCA)
- Assisting in installation of any new equipment as required and directed.
- Assisting in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing turbine mechanical and auxiliary equipment including BOP in Power plant.
- Make the inventory count and control of tools, equipment and consumable (workshop and hand tools )
- Helping Team leader and section manager for preparing yearly budget and follow up
- Prepare the data collection for vibration , oil condition , Pressure and temperature and make a predictive and condition maintenance plan and proposal
- Create Work instructions for all the works and explain to junior staff before any job – for safe working.
- Communicating effectively and accurately using both oral and written skills.
- Assisting in performance of any operating activities directed Team leader and Section manager Mechanical & Turbine Engineering and Writing up required materials and submitting for approval.
- Performing cleaning duties as required and assigned.
- Taking actions necessary to prevent any failures.
- Participated in plant operations whenever needed.
- Performing any duties in a safe and economical manner, taking reasonably care of the health and safety,
- Being aware and playing avital role considering the essential of Environmental Management in accordance with ISO 14001, Quality Management in accordance with ISO 9001, Safety and Occupational Health in accordance with ISO 45001
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree of Mechanical Engineering
- Have background in Hydro, Thermal, Cogen. power plant or industry
- English communication skills.
