Summary of Responsibilities

Sr. Officer - Local Administration is expected to perform administrative tasks and related tasks in supporting plant’s operation including document, furniture & fixture, general procurement of office supplies and consumables, maids, drivers, vehicle management at LPCL camp site, accommodation management at LPCL camp site, business trip arrangement, site visit arrangement, and the other community relations activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist (Sr.) Manager - Local Administration to provide updated status of works for LPCL in supporting plant’s operation

General Administration

  • Perform general administration activities to support plant manager on day-to-day basis including managing the use of communication devices, managing petty cash (for plant), performing the onsite receipt for goods and services, arranging advance request for expenses, and clearing advance
  • Coordinate with vendors for the correct documents and prepare the request for payment of the utility's expenses and administrative tasks' expenses summitted for the approval such as telephone bill, electricity bill, car rental bill
  • Facilitate the offering to the spirit house and arrange the other religious' ceremonies by cooperating with the advisor

Maid, Driver, and Vehicle Management

  • Prepare tasks schedule and control service standard for maids and drivers based on work process, work instruction, and service contract
  • Coordinate for vehicle usage and maintenance including periodic maintenance, motor insurance, vehicle taxes, vehicle fees, and the necessary permit

Workplace, Common area, Fitness room, and Accommodation at camp site

  • Perform operations of workplace at LPCL camp site to be a safe, collaborative, and efficient workplace for all employees
  • Perform operations of accommodation at LPCL camp site and other facilities including common area and fitness room to be a safe, efficient, and well-maintained facilities

General Purchasing and Reserve Stock

  • Create purchase requisition for general procurement (office supplies, consumables, asset)
  • Prepare reserve stocks of office supplies to be at appropriate level in supporting business operation

Asset Management

  • Maintain and control on the asset owned by Local Administrative i.e., office equipment, Office appliances, furniture and fixture, electrical appliances, air-conditioning system, safety system

Site Visit Arrangement

  • Site Visit Arrangement - Perform site visit coordination and reception with Vientiane office, MD Office, and the relevant parties including Government of Laos officials and guests

Business Trip Arrangement

  • Arrange business trip for LPCL site employees with a coordination with SSC Travel Arrangement team

CSR and Community Relations

  • Perform CSR and community relations activities based on plan and assignment by coordinating to CSM and the relevant parties

Document Management

  • Properly initiate and renew the contracts related to administrative works
  • Prepare and perform the documents with accuracy on time and follows the Company's regulations and policy

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform any duties in a safe and economical manner, taking reasonably care of the health and safety, avoiding unsafe shortcuts or fail to follow established procedures that might negatively impact on health, safety or the environment

Summary of Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Chief Resident Engineer (CRE), Electrical Lead, or designated supervisor, perform electrical inspection and supervision of substation installation works. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and inspect installation of substation electrical systems including transformers, switchgear, protection/control panels, grounding, lighting, power/control cabling, and auxiliary systems.
  • Ensure all electrical installations comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, safety standards, and relevant codes.
  • Witness electrical tests such as insulation resistance, high-voltage tests, relay testing, and equipment functionality checks.

In engineering projects of hydro power plant, support Senior Engineer by drafting reports, presentation decks, contracts, technical correspondents, and technical references etc., in applying basic electrical engineering knowledge, from pre-construction to construction phase. Support Senior Engineers to provide engineering consultations to O&M subsidiaries in accordance with Engineering Service Agreement.

Responsibilities

Pre-construction phase

  • Draft reports, presentation decks, contracts, technical correspondents, terms of reference and technical references etc. to support Senior Engineers
  • Support feasibility study process which include but not limited to:
    • Supervise and monitor site investigations from electrical engineering view point.
  • Review specifications and outline design drawings in applying basic electrical engineering knowledge, industry standards and norms
  • Ensure document control of the project by preparing storage and document organizing rules

Construction phase

  • Draft reports, presentation decks, contracts, technical correspondents, terms of reference and technical references etc. to support Senior Engineers
  • Review submittal and detail design from EPC within an assignment by a superior
  • Supervise and monitor activities on site, and follow up the work progress, summarize situations and report to relevant engineers. In case of technical issues, collect information for team to analyze root-cause, come up with solutions and monitor the progress of the open issue

O&M phase

  • In response to requests from O&M subsidiaries, support Senior Engineers to provide engineering consultations in accordance with Engineering Service Agreement
  • Engineering capability development in the organization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrometrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experiences in HV/MV substation system, including switchgear, transformers and protection/control system at least 3 years.

Senior Officer - Logistics is expected to perform both general and engineering procurement logistics for XPCL and ensure the quality of operation and cost optimization according to service agreements.

Responsibilities:

Logistics on General Procurement

  • Perform tasks on logistics planning and follow-up logistics on general procurement for each subsidiary
  • Perform logistics activity including managing logistics, warehouse, in house transportation and outsource transportation
  • Schedule date of delivery and ensure that goods are delivered to the right destination on time
  • Coordinate with related parties for tax exemption
  • Negotiate for discount and ensure the best offer from suppliers
  • Work closely with Purchasing team and Store Management team on planning to deliver inventory

Logistics on Engineering Procurement

  • Coordinate with plant manager and related plant engineer to prepare logistic arrangement of engineering procurement for each subsidiary O&M plant
  • Develop regular engineering procurement logistics planning

Perform quick response in timely manner on logistics for emergency case

  • Perform logistics tasks on engineering procurement operations including tax exemption operation (BOI, Quota) and quality inspection

Main responsible is to management of Operation Utilities System such as Navigation lock, Fish passing system, Upstream debris cleaning included TRCM, Pumping Station, Fish Ladder, IO structure and LBAP Units. XAYABURI POWER COMPANY LIMITED

Xayaburi Power Company Limited (XPCL), an affiliate of CK Power Public Company Limited, representing 42.5 percent of XPCL's registered and paid-up capital. XPCL is a company registered in the Lao PDR and is awarded the concession from the Government of the Lao PDR. for design, development, construction, and operation of the Xayaburi Hydroelectric Power Plant for a period of 31 years from the Commercial Operation Date.

Situated on the Mekong River in Xayaburi Province, Lao PDR, the Xayaburi Hydroelectric Power Project is located approximately 80 kilometers south of Luang Prabang and 1,900 kilometers from the Mekong River Delta. The power plant began its commercial operations on October 29, 2019, and boasts an installed capacity of 1,285 MW.

Summary of Responsibilities

Maintenance of the facilities in compliance with the company procedures and safety instructions, mainly on hydro mechanical equipment (spillway gates , Intake gate , Navigation facilities , Fish passing facilities ,Cranes, Log boom or hydraulics fields)Under the Team Leader and section manager. Mechanical & Turbine Engineering and repairing all equipment in the plant. Performing any duties necessary to keep the plant running in a safe and economical manner.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the correct performance of the whole maintenance of the turbine mechanical equipment of the facilities in compliance with the O&M manuals, procedures, spare parts, consumable use, schedule, safety, quality and reporting
  • Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly all maintenance plan (PM, CM, IM including outage).
  • Making the daily, weekly, and monthly job planning for his team and follow up the works quality and quantity.

Nam Ngum 2 Power Company Limited
