Primary Responsibilities:

Corporate Relation

  • Gather information to support development of corporate strategies, plans and activities.
  • Provide corporate contents in the variety form such as press release, editorial, news, article, press kits to public or agencies via traditional media and online media.
  • Perform tasks on social, internal, and external public relation activities.
  • Produce and design artwork element online media, graphics such as website, banner, logo, advertisement poster to build up corporate image.
  • Support manager to perform tasks on developing corporate brand image and promoting communication with external parties.
  • Compile related information and update company website content, facebook, youtube etc.
  • Evaluate public relation activities and seek improvements for next activities.
  • Coordinate and provide requirements to external agency to develop public communications package.

Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR)

  • Gather information to support development of corporate social responsibility activity plans.
  • Conduct corporate social responsibility activities of CKPower and all subsidiaries.

Communication & Community Relation Management

  • Perform tasks on issuing press releases.
  • Maintain and reinforce a good relationship with businesses and local communities.
  • Arrange promotional events (i.e. energy industry seminar or exhibition) to strengthen communication with potential business partners.
  • Arrange company’s gifts to related external parties.
  • Develop, plan, and execute internal communications for CKPower Group companies.
Qualifications:
  • Male or Female, Age between 28-35 years old.
  • Bachelor/ Master’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication Multimedia or related field.
  • At least 3-5 years working experience in Corporate Relation or related field.
  • Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities.
  • Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Illustrator, Photoshop.

Qualifications:

  • HR Business Partner Officer is responsible to manage HR related activities at local location of a subsidiary acting as a frontline contact person of HR team for employees at subsidiary’s local location, and ensure professional and efficient services based on service agreements.
Primary Responsibilities:

SSC Common Responsibilities

  • Promptly respond to subsidiary’s MD general requests to perform activities contributing to successful business operation at local site.
  • Work closely with SSC HR team and be a contact person for employees at local location to manage HR-related activities regarding recruitment, HR management and HR development including gathering & verifying information, receiving & responding to employee’s request for HR related services.
  • Support at site communication regards the changes from Organization Development (OD) aspects e.g. organization structure changes, update of functional descriptions and job descriptions.
  • Assist HR Business Partner Manager to prepare monthly reports and report to MD of subsidiary and related person on work progress and issues regarding human resource operation at each local location.

Local Recruitment Support

  • Verify the request of workforce from the local managers by reviewing the workforce requisition form and the job descriptions; prior submitting to SSC Recruitment for further proceed.
  • Perform local job posting and/or advertisement through coordination with SSC Recruitment; or local agency if necessary.
  • Facilitate local job application for the walk-in candidates and report to the SSC Recruitment.
  • Perform local recruitment of operators (e.g. driver, maid, gardener) and report to the SSC Recruitment.
  • Coordinate with SSC Recruitment to prepare the first-day documents for the new joiners including Employment Contract, Provident Fund, Social Security, and Letter of Bank Account and Travel Arrangement Documents for Employees who work at Laos Sites Provide a photo of the new joiners who works at local site according to the requirement from SSC Recruitment.
  • Conduct local orientation at site for the new joiners.
  • Coordinate with SSC Recruitment regards the heath check-up at local site for the new joiners.
  • Follow-up and verify the Probation Form from local managers prior sending it to SSC Recruitment.
  • Monitor time record, attendance, finger scan, and other activities of trainee and submit documents to SSC Recruitment.
  • Monitor and report time attendance of the trainee to SSC Recruitment.
  • Issue the Request for Payment (for Trainee Salary) to SSC Recruitment.

HR Management Team Support

  • Monitor time record, attendance, finger scan in daily basis for all employees at local site and by weekly basis for operator employees.
  • Verify the time record, leave request, and leave schedule of all employees at site and report to SSC HRM.
  • Collect and verify the Overtime Request Form in daily basis for all employees at local site and in weekly basis for the operator employees and submit the documents to SSC HRM accordingly.
  • Submit monthly time record and attendance report to SSC HRM.
  • Follow up and verify the Performance Appraisal form from the local manager and submit to SSC HRM.
  • Collect and verify certificate document to SSC HRM.
  • Coordinate with the embassy, immigration office, and agency in Laos to prepare the newly issued visa and work permit for the expat who work in Laos including the annual renewal support.
  • Perform local administer and logistics for annual health check for the employees at site

HR Development Team Support

  • Collect and verify training requested documents including budget, venue, course outline with reference to CKP training roadmap and CKP core competencies, and related details before submitting to SSC HRD.
  • Collect and follow up annual training feedback survey and report to SSC HRD.
  • Follow up the post-training report to SSC HRD.
  • Support in-house training activities including trainer coordination, logistics arrangement, meeting date and time arrangement, venue selection, participant list preparation, meals & break request.
  • Follow up with local employees at site to set career development plan and report to SSC HRD.
Qualifications:
  • Male / Female age 24-28 years old.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Political Sciences or related fields.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in HR Business Partner Officer.
  • Computer literacy especially in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Strong in communication especially in conflict resolution skills.

  • To implement effective occupational health and safety training plans e.g. hazardous communication, confined space, fire fighting, emergency response plan to develop on awareness and skilsl of employees.
  • Coordinating and ensuring that all personnel are in occupational health and safety conformance
  • To ensure employee and contractor working on the site area is in compliance with policy and safety procedures.
  • Maintain safety records and other related documents. Making changes to working practices that are safe and comply with safety regulation.
  • Provide and control the work permit for contractor and worker to ensure that the work covered by a work permit to be executed in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Inspect and implement an appropriate level of safety equipment and function, fire detection system, fire fighting system, personal protective equipment, emergency procedures, first-aid facilities, safety/warning signs associated with the operation, maintenance and construction activity.
  • Create and organize the safety activities to enhance associates’ safety awareness.
  • Communicating chemical hazards to workers who must handle the hazardous materials under the Hazard Communication Programs, written programs/labeling/MSDS etc.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety Science or related fields.
  • Minimum Safety officer in advanced technical level prescribed by Thai, Laos Laws.
  • Minimum 2 years ‘s experience in advanced technical Safety Officer and experience 3 years in safety field.
  • Experiences a safety operations in the power plant and OHSAS 18001 would be advantage.

  • Responsible of the daily and weekly flow forecasting at damsite using the Hydrology Monitoring Forecasting System (HMFS) and his meteorological expertise
  • Responsible of the quality and the accuracy of the hydro-meteorological data on the HMFS database
Primary Duties:
  • Responsible for the daily and weekly rainfall forecasting
  • Responsible for the daily and weekly discharge forecasting
  • Responsible of the reliability and accuracy of the hydro-meteorological data on the HMFS database
  • Responsible of the yearly hydrological data validation
  • Support the Field Hydrology Engineer to maintain the hydromet stations
  • Support the Field Hydrology Engineer during flow measurements on site, discharge validation and rating curves implementation

Responsibility scope:
  • Responsible to replace temporarily the Forecasting Hydrology Department Manager during his absence to insure the continuity of the daily and weekly activities like reporting, meeting attendance, power forecasting etc…
  • Responsible to replace temporarily the Field Hydrology Engineer during his absence to insure the data transmission of the hydromet stations

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that administrative operations at XPCL site follows group’s common policies & procedures, and standardized processes
  • Promptly respond to subsidiary’s MD general requests to perform activities contributing to successful business operation at site
Administration at XPCL Site:

Canteen and Minimart Management

  • Planning, organizing, and monitoring the day to day operations of the canteen, including the working schedule of canteen worker, daily record-keeping, opening and closing the canteen, preparation and cooking for service.
  • Developing, implementing and managing procedures to deliver the food service to XPCL employees and guests.
  • Providing leadership to canteen staffs to ensure the delivery of an affordable food service to XPCL
  • Ordering, purchasing and checking all supplies against invoices and quality of material and equipment including arranging the proper storage area. Ensure that stock is kept at appropriate levels.
  • Induction and training worker in the food preparation and other procedures to deliver an affordable food service to XPCL; Use food preparation and food handling skills to minimize waste.
  • Ensuring that food products prices are monitored and value for money considered
  • Implement procedures and processes regarding food safety to ensure that correct food handling and hygiene practices are performed to prevent food spoilage, contamination and subsequent food poisoning.
  • Ensuring all canteen staffs are familiar with correct food handling and hygiene practices in line with relevant legislation.
  • Maintain all canteen equipment and facility to be good condition to service
  • Manage daily operations of minimart.
  • Perform inventory control by checking the movement of products and maintaining proper availability of all the items.
  • Ensure that grocery shelves are maintained clean, safe and organized.
  • Formulates pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities.
  • Inspect the areas in the minimart and resolve any issues that might arise.

Accommodation Management

  • Ensure the smooth running of accommodation facilities, including the safety and well-being of guests and XPCL employees.
  • Control a budget and finances, manage stock levels and order supplies.
  • Communicate with related function to coordinate and plan the allocation of accommodation.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance of the facilities.
  • Inspect the accommodation to ensure that hygiene and health and safety regulations are met, carrying out risk assessments as necessary.
  • Supervise the work of cleaning staff and ensure standards are maintained.
  • Get involved in the building and refurbishment of residential accommodation.
  • Manage overall daily operations of laundry services.
  • Observes and inspects the laundry and cleaning process for adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of all laundry and cleaning equipment.
  • Develops and reviews policies and procedures for the provision of laundry services; receives general administrative direction; work is reviewed through results obtained and efficiency of operation; performs other related work as assigned.
  • Manage and supervise maid and all cleaning.
Qualifications:
  • Male / Female age 35-45 years old.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Hotel Management or related fields
  • At least 5 years of experience working in hotels or resorts operational management or related fields.
  • Good communication in both Thai/Lao and English.
  • Good communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Xayaburi Power Company Limited

The Xayaburi Dam is a hydroelectric dam under construction on the Lower Mekong River approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of Xayaburi (Sainyabuli) town in Northern Laos. Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the perfect functioning and maintenance of power plant generators and auxiliary systems of the 1285 MW Run-of-River Xayaburi Hydroelectric Power Plant.
  • Reports to the General Electrical Department Manager.
Primary duties
  • Performing preventive, corrective, improvement maintenance work order assigned, instruct and supervision staff and make a report.
  • Making repairs in areas of expertise and assisting other in making repairs to all equipment.
  • Assisting in installation of any new equipment as required and directed. Assisting in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and control equipment including generator, motor, transformer, GIS, AIS and electrical balance of plant.
  • Communicating effectively and accurately using both oral and written skills.
  • Writing up required materials and submitting for approval.
  • Performing cleaning duties as required and assigned.
  • Taking actions necessary to prevent any failures.
  • Continually checking all phases of operation & maintenance for difficulties or irregularities, troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Maintaining journals, logs, maintenance and equipment records and various reports.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or higher.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in SPP, IPP of Hydro, Thermal, Cogen. power plant.
  • Profound knowledge of power plant generators and its auxiliary systems such as excitation system, control system, protection system, monitoring system etc.
  • Good knowledge concerning condition monitoring and appropriate maintenance of generators and auxiliary systems.

  • Maintaining and repairing DCS / SCADA system in power plant. Performing any duties necessary to keep the plant running in a safe and economical manner.
Essential Duties
  • Performs instrument calibrations, field checks, troubleshooting and maintenance of all relevant systems of the entire Plant
  • Maintains all related Plant equipment through corrective, predictive and planned activities
  • Performs and evaluates plant tests
  • May be required to perform tests, repairs and modifications while systems are online
  • Proposes to the Control / SCADA Senior Specialist design improvements to the various systems in order to avoid unplanned breakdown of equipment; recommends and installs modifications
Additional Duties
  • Monitors maintenance activities with regard to schedule, manpower, material needs, spare parts consumption and safety standards
  • Writes, reviews and revises maintenance and other related procedures
  • Performs failure analysis to determine causes of equipment or systems malfunction and provides recommendation how to avoid these malfunctions in the future
  • Provides training concerning safety standards and I & C procedures for concerned staff
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in Instrument, Control Engineering or Electrical.
  • Experience: 5 years or more at Power Plants preferably at Hydroelectric Power Plants.

  • Record data log, monitoring condition of machine and equipment, alarm, SOE and operate plant with standard & emergency procedures in conjunction with the plant Operation Shift Senior Engineer.
  • Updating a necessary and ensuring conformance with established policies and SOP, EOP procedures.
  • Managing plant operations activities, routine operating and maintenance, and overhaul procedures ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Directing communicating, and monitoring daily operation of plant operators report to Plant Operation Shift Engineer to meet plant objectives. Make understand and comply of operation standing order.
  • Monitoring equipment and operator’s performance to meet plant performance objectives.
  • Developing and maintaining written standard operating procedures, casualty control, and emergency operating procedures of all plant operating functions.

Qualifications:

Nam Ngum 2 Power Company Limited

The Nam Ngum 2 Hydroelectric Power Project is located in Lao PDR, approximately 35 km upstream of the existing Nam Ngum 1 dam. It is located on the Nam Ngum River, which is one of the major tributaries to the Mekong River. The project, with an installed capacity of 615 MW is being built to produce energy for the Thai electricity grid and all the output will be sold to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT).

Location: Xaysomboun Province, Lao PDR

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Manage monitoring and inspection of reservoir, embankment, and face slab movement, water level/seepage and other environmental issues which are conducted by EGAT/EDL at Nam Ngum 2 Hydro Power Plant (NN2).
  • Support NN2 Civil Manager in trouble/crisis management by applying basic civil engineering knowledge.
Primary Responsibilities:

Civil and Instrument

  • Support Civil and Service manager to handle civil issues in a dam site
  • Monitor plant condition by visual check on measurement instruments and gauges including recording historical data by applying basic civil engineering knowledge.
  • Keep track of deformation amount in depth or length of dam on regular basis via over a hundred of measurement instruments across the site.
  • Make sure the all the monitoring device is ready to use without any failure and replace the device if any error detected.
  • Work with the contractor for bi-annual check reports on civil constructions, and support regular check on measurement instrumentals. Manage EGAT/EDL/CKP SSC as contractors by reviewing reports from them, analyzing the issues, and directing solutions or escalating to DMD Operation and Maintenance if necessary.
  • Perform preventive civil maintenance activities.
  • Submit the work progress report to superior officer every month.
Qualifications:
  • Age between 22-30 years old
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in civil monitoring or related fields.
  • New graduates are welcome.
  • Good communication in both Thai/Lao and English
