"CKPower" placed on the 2021 Thailand Sustainability Investment List for two consecutive years

CK Power Public Company Limited (CKPower), has been placed on the 2021 Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI) list for the second consecutive year by the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). A total of 146 companies have been chosen for the list this year, CKPower’s inclusion on the THSI list reflects and underscores CKPower’s commitment to sustainable business operations and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.

It is evident from the strategies CKPower has formulated to support the pursuit of the nine Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN) relevant to its business cover the 3 ESG missions. The Company has introduced energy management and reaffirmed its stance to reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, electricity and water use, and waste management to maintain sustainable business and build a stable profit in the long term.

The 2021 THSI list consists of listed companies that clearly show that their crisis management covers coping with the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The assessment focuses on rethinking new normal factors such as digital transformation to mitigate emerging risks and adapting accordingly while gearing up to meet future challenges. The Company has prioritized the health and safety of all employees to ensure business continuity and operational efficiency as well as providing assistance to society and stakeholders, including customers and business partners. In developing environmental aspects and to assist Thailand in it’s goal to become a net-zero carbon society the Company is setting quantitative targets and disclosing data and information concerning greenhouse gas emission reduction.
